I've queried half-a-dozen publishers, large and small. Radio silence past the time they say they will respond if interested was the majority of the responses.

I was thinking nobody knew how to market a story that's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, if the galaxy was a comic fantasy version of Australia, with the fantastic wildlife narrated by David Attenborough.

After reading this, I'm thinking self-publishing is the way I'll be going.
