@xgranade Odd. Maybe just gives better compression when you have colourful scans to compress or something.
Is rar support through libarchive, or does it pull in one of the non-free-license things? (I can't remember if calibre wasn't an option on debian without the nonfree repo, I thought it was available on some fsf-approved distros though, so it's odd to me they have rar support.)
