Me: "Huh, I've got an hour, I'll get birdnet-go up and running on my old macbook and see pretty graphs of birds"
-- 1 hour later ---
WTF does this docker error mean and why am I even seeing it, this is a podman machine trying to launch a podman-compose file and fuck this it's the weekend and this feels like work
"docker.errors.DockerException: Error while fetching server API version: ('Connection aborted.', FileNotFoundError(2, 'No such file or directory'))"
Cannot be arsed to try and fix it right now.
*Fixed*
- uninstall podman, podman compose, docker and docker compose
- reinstall docker using the docker.io upstream
- add my user to the docker group
- start docker
- use the docker compose file in the repo
- test by playing UK birdsong youtube videos
