And that could be partially solved with systems of multiple small models laser focused on specific tasks. There are already harnesses like Roo-code with multiple "modes" you can define for different tasks and each one of them can use a different model.

Of course the problem with that is that small models can be run at local scale and then there is no business for API sellers. So as always the business side is ruining the utility of AI for coding.
