Deradicalization requires those engaged in derad to recognize all humans as equally human, and to engender that same recognition in our adversaries.

To my thinking, the archenemy is pain through its façades of fascism, hatred and bigotry, not the fascist, the hater, the bigot. I’ve seen what happens when one kills the bigotry inside them. The bigot is killed. The person remains.
