@farbel @Aphrodite @corbden All the more reason to meet them where they are! We can't keep hunkering down in our own echo chambers and expect things to change. They're obviously not going to seek us out because their leaders are too busy demonizing us, so we have to come to them with compassion and understanding. ❤️

@Aphrodite @corbden Absolutely! I always cringe when I see folks on the left painting those on the right as "evil" or "brainwashed" and focus more on silencing those voices instead of trying to bring them over to our cause. I understand there's a lot of vitriol and misinformation coming from the right and we need to do what we must to protect ourselves, but we also have to be able to cut through the noise and see the hurting person behind the rhetoric. ❤️

@corbden Yes to all of this! It's a long and grueling progress, but if we're to have any hope of turning the tide of fascism in this country, we have to start deprogramming those that just got caught up in the wave of anger and resentment being perpetrated by those in power instead of just writing them off as a "lost cause." After all, they're humans too. ❤️
