Last time I tried the mail feature and connected it to my locally hosted (literally localhost) IMAP, it apparently tried to download/index/parse every last one of the many hundreds of thousamds of my stored e-mails, instead of just getting IMAP folders and message headers. I seem to recall I had to kill -9 it to regain control of the system. Might this have changed recently?
