@david_chisnall @jonny @chris_evelyn For this very reason, I have a Noam Chomsky quote at the top of one of my many continuous working notes files to remind me: "Their basic design prevents them from reaching the minimal condition of adequacy for a theory of human language: distinguishing possible from impossible languages." It should be tattoed on certain people's foreheads.
