Had a day off from work yesterday, but I still spent it flying. I took my glider license out and took one of the club’s LS4s for a lap around the block. What was supposed to be a quick one-hour flight turned into nearly 3.5 hours of soaring. I completely lost track of time up there, just sharing thermals wingtip-to-wingtip with the birds. It was so lovely. 🩵🦅
