Which is actually a totally platform agnostic question, though, as mentioned, Substack's algo can be a help for new/small creators. But it's still not the only way to do it. Platform wise, lots of creators who don't want to publish in a Nazi bar use Ghost + Transistor for blogs & podcasts.
