Many people just learned about Sverige’s chat backdoor proposal from an interview with Signal CEO @Mer__edith@mastodon.world with SVT Nyheter. It is similar to the EU’s and UK’s recent chat control proposal.
@dfri@mastodon.social fights for digital privacy rights in Sverige and responded to the government’s request for comment in January.
