I'd never have guessed myself in a million years but @VioB more or less got the answer straight away which was Broken Sword 2. The tagline to justify this campaign was "On PC-CD from October. On your mind forever after."

@VioB Not sure how you got there but you appear to be thinking of the right game. The title is a little mixed up. I'm tempted to give it to you anyway but let's see if anyone else can get it.

@Cassandra I can see what you are thinking. Tomb Raider was on PC but this isn't it. I do remember Tomb Raider's adverts being no less subtle but they all made sure to feature Lara very prominently.

90's game advertising really was something. Just ran across this particularly egregious example.

I'm wondering if anyone who hasn't seen it before can guess the reasonably famous PC game it's supposed to be representing.

Finished this months @dosgameclub@dosgame.club choice after finally making it past the pesky eagle. Despite its bad reputation on PC, I don't think it played too badly. Combat is essentially mashing the same key though. I'll have to give the Apple II original a go next for comparison.
