Shapes:
- stars
- geometric shapes
- animals
- plants
- mushrooms
- smiley faces

Ways of creating them:
- the path you walk can be shaped
- you could draw something (if you do, add a little stick figure where you think they would stand on this shape, also give them a hat because stick figures with hats are fun)
- you could cut or arrange your food into a shape before eating it
- you could fold paper into a shape
- I'm sure there's other items you could arrange into whatever shape you like

The Nova Launcher has started to annoy me with ai features I don't want. Does anyone have an android launcher they're happy with?

All I'm looking for is:

searchable app drawer that doesn't overwhelm me (list rather than grid)
either space for a widget I can put across roughly the top quarter of my screen or a built-in way to see upcoming calendar events (preferably for the whole week and as a grid rather than a list but I'll settle for the current day if I have to)
custom icon set (edit: or no icons at all, I just don't want colour in my icons or lack thereof)
a way to hide apps I don't want to see, ideally without them showing up in the drawer search unless I un-hide them via launcher settings
if possible I'd like to not go through the google play store though I will if I have to

I love myself, I think I'm a very decent guy who deserves a decent life. I think I deserve respect. I just also think other people deserve support and that creates a dilemma if this is how I get treated. I'm not going to cut out everyone I know, that would be ridiculous and not helpful. This just won't change until I'm significantly older than I am now. I'm capable of a lot but that only ever gets recognised when others need it. And sometimes it isn't even mentioned then, just.. expected of me. Which feels violent and awful and I'd still fucking be okay with that if I wasn't getting robbed of all credit the second I'm no longer needed as a last resort. Couldn't have respect for the twenty-something year old unless we actively need him for something, huh? Couldn't view him as the fully fucking grown adult that he is unless it serves us. Cool. Thanks. I'll be over here resenting this reality tonight and fixing my mental state tomorrow because I'm an adult and that means I don't let myself stir in misery longer than I need to in order to let my brain process and feel the emotions it needs to.

This whole lack of information before made me very anxious and then I got blamed for the exact lack of knowledge that made me anxious. So now I'm still anxious because I feel like I'm going to get blamed for things I didn't even know were happening. I may be ignoring a trigger right now, this shit runs deep. I'm not okay, I have to make myself be okay soon and even just thinking about being there again on Saturday is making me tense up. They didn't really do anything other than not wanting to feel responsible for me wasting my time - which is an understandable instinct to have - but I feel like the trust I had started to build has just been ripped out for no reason. Welp. Probably won't seem nearly as dramatic after a solid night of sleep, I just need to get myself to do that now.

honestly still a bit upset - not about the misscommunication itself but about the reaction to it I had to argue against the idea that I'm just incapable of remembering what we agreed on. I'm not that unreliable and I thought my friends would know that and not just assume otherwise. The reaction was "that's online, what are you doing here? Getting that wrong is silly of you but no big deal :D" instead of "oh, did we not talk about whether this would be in person or online?" I just don't like that the first assumption was that I made a mistake (which is entirely possible and if I did it might have been a different story but that wasn't the case so I just got wrongly accused of not reading texts properly). Which felt extra bad because I EVEN TRIED TO ASK AFTER DOUBLE CHECKING THAT IT WASN'T MENTIONED... Maybe start with "how did this happen?" instead of "You got that wrong, but no big deal"?

alright, my problem was that it felt very condescending and I really don't take kindly to that am I willing to move past this moment without adressing it again, considering they checked and apologised for their mistake? there's a decent chance they've already learned from this because it clearly was uncomfortable to them. there's also no good way to stop someone from being condescending exept proving them wrong anyway alright, I can move on, they feel bad enough as-is.
