@nicd@masto.ahlcode.fi I have a classic Brompton from 2018 and often have a total weight of 130+ kg (incl. the bike). This works very well for me and the bike doesn't seem to mind (I regularly have it in service). I am 186cm tall, so not really above the 185, but I am using a slightly longer seat post that has been added by the vendor already.

@chrisstoecker@mastodon.social Ich glaube, wir brauchen ganz viele kleinere und mittelgroße Anbieter weltweit, die eine Vielzahl an Diensten anbieten. Ich befürchte, jede Art von Zentralisation führt zu solchen Auswüchsen - das hat mit dem Kontinent nicht viel zu tun. Deshalb fände ich es schön, wenn wir nicht eine europäische Cloud hätten, sondern Viele.

Als Leser der ersten Stunde, der schon beim Crowdfunding vor fast 10 Jahren begeistert von der Idee und mit am Start war, kann ich Perspective Daily nur jedem empfehlen. Es gibt jeden Tag einen Artikel. Bis jetzt habe ich jeden gelesen, auch wenn mich das Thema auf den ersten Blick nicht interessiert hat. Ich habe es noch nie bereut.

Falls Ihr also Lust auf unabhängigen und werbefreien konstruktiven Journalismus habt, dann empfehle ich Euch diese überschaubare Investition an Zeit und Geld.
