Replaced our usage of the `toml` crate with `toml-spanner` and am fairly happy with the result.

The error messages coming out of `toml` (really out of `serde`) were nonsensical for users and this work was primarily motivated by an upcoming feature where we will have certain strings in the TOML file that are snippets of a DSL.

With `toml-spanner`, we can now directly parse and statically analyze those snippets and offset any diagnostics based on the TOML string's span within the file, leading to less frustrated users.

I got a notice that several of my GitHub repositories were disabled due to policy violations.

Turns out they were just forks of Microsoft repositories, such as https://github.com/Azure/azure-functions-java-worker.

Coming from GrapheneOS on my last device, I'm not thrilled to go back to a Google-fied Android, but ColorOS (Oppo's Android skin) is at least pretty and quite functional for the foldable.

I snagged myself an Oppo Find N6 at retail price (didn't even pay for import duties - I suspect this was a phone given to a reviewer) and I've been loving having a foldable; the crease on this thing is pretty much invisible.

@esoterra@hachyderm.io Absolutely. It's such frustrating nonsense. Anthropic's C compiler passed a bunch of the GCC test suites, but had such laughably bad code generation that made some operations ~200000X slower. Writing *performance* tests are really difficult and rarely reflected in something like a regression test suite, even assuming the LLM passed the regression test the "correct" way. This PostgreSQL port will most likely perform like Microsoft Access running on a toaster. And how does one dive into that much slop to improve it post-facto? It would likely be faster to have never used an LLM in the first place to get to a place of _quality_.

Reads a little more. Oh, it's using multiple LLM agents to produce over 450K lines of code that I'm _totally_ sure will be thoroughly reviewed by the *one person* working on the project.

I don't care how many regression tests it passes, it's going to be a flaming pile of dog poo for the same reasons Anthropic's C compiler was.
