@xgqt Yeah, its probably same thing for me where the update is blocked by a qemu pin. I don't see really any good solution to that unless you have something that calculates the full graph to find visible *and* possible updates.

@xgqt pquery --format '{category}/{package}:{slot}' -u might avoid eix weirdness, similarly would take into account slots. It would be slower of course.

Otherwise I'd add -1/--oneshot to avoid adding packages to world. -u on its own might add it to world unless EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS already has it.
