FFXIV upgraded their graphics engine with the last expansion and sometimes it doesn't look all that different. But other times, I marvel at what they were able accomplish with just some shaders and lighting.

FFXIV is basically a virtual Final Fantasy amusement park with FF themed rides and shows and if you're a big FF fan, you'll know it. The last set of 24-man raids are based on FFXI, but previous 24-mans have been based on (or referenced) FFIII, FF Tactics, and Nier.
