Ugh, I don't want to have to try to figure out Apache Batik again, yet I can't find anything else that can rasterize an SVG with SMIL by specifying how long to run the animation before a screenshot.

But it really looks like it's that or trying to write Javascript so a browser can handle it since Firefox, Chromium, and Safari all support SMIL decently enough.

Pour one out for everyone who worked at #WotC. This year has been one awful thing after another for all #Hasbro employees working on #DnD but the executives responsible got bonuses while creators got shafted.

Shot in the dark but is anyone here connected to #BoardGame publishers? I've seen people talking about the new #Arknights board game positively but it doesn't sound like they have plans/partners to release it outside of China.

Is that something that would be easy for them to fix in the future or did them not picking partners in the beginning mean that's not a possibility?

Everyone, pour one out for your favorite creators. Based on #Patreon 's new redesign and the associated announcements, they've leaned hard into #Enshittification (or at least making awful decisions to chase #InfiniteGrowth for shareholders).

So all your favorite artists, streamers, musicians, and the like are going to have waste time and effort learning a bunch of new platforms before long as Patreon sets itself ablaze.
