Just landed in `master`: Full traffic capture and parsing on a Tailscale interface.

This should work with any "Raw IP" interface like Wireguard, OpenVPN, tun etc

Super cool if you force all your traffic through an "exit node" under you control. Visibility of all your endpoints, no matter where they are.

New in the next alpha release: WiFi client monitoring.

Clients connected to a monitored WiFi network can be marked as approved or ignored. Newly connected clients trigger the `NEW_CLIENT` event and let you review if that client was supposed to connect to the network.

Like all nzyme WiFi monitoring, this works entirely passively, without connecting to any of your network infrastructure.

New in the next alpha release: Probe Request Monitoring.

Monitoring probe requests is essential for ensuring that sensitive SSIDs are not broadcasted by your devices, especially in secure or sensitive locations. By using nzyme to monitor probe requests, you can enforce a policy that requires users to delete certain networks from their devices or disable the "auto-connect" feature.

We have a short knowledge base article about monitoring for probe requests here: https://www.nzyme.org/knowledge/wifi/monitoring-probe-request-ssids

The coming two alpha releases focus on WiFi and Bluetooth.

The Bluetooth subsystem gets its own detection engine and starts off with this work in progress: Apple Find My (incl. AirTag) detection.

It includes parsing of certain public parameters stuffed into the Bluetooth Low Energy manufacturer data as well as detection of paired and unpaired AirTags.

New on the tap details page: 802.11/WiFi spectrum coverage overview.

Local region settings or insufficient types of WiFi adapters could leave you with blind spots and this helps you ensure that you cover the entire WiFi spectrum.

In this case, some indoor channels are deactivated and none of the attached WiFi adapters supports 802.11axe.
