Testing #Tuba on the #Pinephone
I had used Tootle (of which Tuba is a fork) before, and stopped using it for its sluggishness and poor Pleroma support.
Tuba is better, but still sluggish. Taps sometimes seem to register at the wrong place. Inadvertently boosted a post from the federated timeline (which I usually don't look at)... The app crashed 3 times in about 2 hours of use. This is a 0.1 release after all.
Speed-wise, with a 2015 chipset maybe it's the best I can hope for.

Now testing #Tuba (Mastodon/Akkoma/Pleroma/Pixelfed GTK Linux app) on my #Pinephone. So far so good. I like the setting for bigger font. And, of course, that it supports multiple accounts.
I missed a dedicated app to get on the Fediverse.

@pavot@fosstodon.org bummer. I can live with most of my Pinephone's shortcomings, but the mediocre camera sensor is a tough one.
I had a OnePlus One with Ubuntu Touch for a year, its camera was great. I assume the OP6's should be as good if not better.

Just great. Got an email from my small ISP telling me they updated their privacy policy. As they were bought by a Canadian telecom giant (Bell) last year, this does not inspire confidence.
I downloaded the 6-page PDF document, what great reading to look forward to... 🙄
