Like, the Claude app could spawn a localhost webserver and the extension could call out to it and achieve the same thing.
More importantly there's no spying or beginning of spying? A desktop app could just use playwright, or directly read the cookies on disk or or or... Spyware has to mean something or definitions become meaningless

Claude can talk to Claude if you later install a browser extension?
I finished migrating my blog from WordPress to a static site (hugo) because of all the WP craziness, and 1) https://pagefind.app is awesome and 2) I chose not to enable ActivityPub due to receiving 99% spam from before. I suppose that's the downside of an open protocol
