Economy is all about the movement of goods/services. Concentration is the opposite of that. For mark to buy a 300M boat, he needs to have that amount of surplus to do so

@alice@lgbtqia.space there is a funny story, that is not reported a lot because is very embarrassing. Self checkout loses money for all stores that have it. Not only is a bad experience, but it encourages stealing, the need for people to help when the machines don’t work, and a security checks, so it requires roughly the same amount of employees. That’s why even after years tech been there it has never went over 10/20 items. This is yet another story of people trying to automate a process they don’t understand in the search of “number go up”

@Em0nM4stodon I’m going to take this chance to pitch an idea I had but have not seen fully fleshed out. Audit Trails: this is bigggg need in most companies and I don’t see a lot of tools for it. They are specially sensitive, important and require a lot of privacy work. I’ve seen audit trails for other tools (AWS, DD, etc) but not for apps themselves. Like a high availability fault tolerant audit trails service with UI, API, deletion, RBAC, the whole thingy And I think it fits the open source/Hosted business model. (Not sure if you were really asking, but is something I think about)
