People who make music on Linux! Can anyone point me to a good source of info on getting Windows VSTs working in Linux? (Bonus points for Linux Mint)
I have tried various configurations of WINE, Bottles, yabridge, and have so far had no luck getting Arturia plugins working in Bitwig.
I've seen lots of people saying Arturia stuff works ok in Linux, so I'm sure it's doable, but I am currently stumped.

@eldersea@expressional.social They still do Bandcamp Fridays, where all the money goes to the artists. Since Bandcamp started laying people off I've mostly only been buying stuff on Bandcamp Fridays. The next one is August 7th.

@anarodrigues Fwiw, this is exactly what I did with my also 14 year old desktop PC that can't be upgraded to Windows 11, and I've been pretty happy with Linux Mint!

@anon_opin@mastodon.social Similarly, the weird thing about the film Alien (1979) is that even though it's set in the future, no one in it has watched the classic 1979 film "Alien" which would give them a good idea of the sort of creature they're dealing with.

@paulcuth One thing I noticed: it's not picking up the feed from my site, and I wonder if this is because I don't include a link in the head, but instead just add rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" to the "RSS" anchor link in the main nav?
(This is totally not a demand for you to add this feature btw! Just occurred to me that you might be able to pick up some extra feeds by checking for this pattern too 😀 I don't know how common this pattern is, tbh, but fairly sure it's valid)
