@cstross@wandering.shop Can't you just get some cheap reading glasses on amazon? They even have varifocals. I bought two different strength varifocal reading glasses and mixed and matched the strengths, because I got monovision for my chataract implants, so I can read and see in the distance without glasses. I still use glasses now, because especially reading is too exhausting without them. But the cheap varifocals did the trick for a couple of weeks until I got the final version.
