Loaned a friend my truck. Ooops. My phone and bluetooth watch were in it. When they brought it back I kidded: "Thanks for the alibi" Their face "drained": They asked: "What did you do?" I answered: "Nothing. Establishing a pattern. Would you like to borrow it again?" Hadn't heard from them for a while. Upside: They probably won't want to borrow a truck from me again. :)

@nixCraft@mastodon.social Had old encyclopedia sets that circled the neighborhood, books handed off from family to family a few at a time. I'd skim and read until I fell asleep.
