@transworldexpress@milliways.social It seems still peaceful. Lisboa is friendly, obviously (even though it’s still traditional, Latin, religious). But yeah. Peaceful, and welcoming. I’m French, and I just see that it’s getting really bad in France… it will get far-right and fascist as well there, soon enough, as in most Northern Europe already (+ Italy). There’s quite only Spain, still, to stay left wing, and save socials, altruism,… but it’s fragile. (Portugal is somehow left too, compared…)

@transworldexpress@milliways.social oh, I’m just terrified, and it’s so dystopian this American fascism which oblige trans (among other minorities and already discriminated ones) to leave US…! What a turn from the old American dream, freedom, etc., to this authoritarian regime (allowed by constitutions anyway - but that’s another discussion). It’s terrifying. And also because it influences a lot Europe, as fascists here find finally a powerful ally, and a way to exist more with their hate… 🥺
