Maybe that's old news, but I just found this article from Amnesty International highlighting the connections between Meta's algorithms and the atrocities committed to the Rohingya people.
As I'm one the path to leave more and more Meta products, this article gave me even more reason to do so.
I'm really excited by the book "Crafting Interpreters" by @munificent@mastodon.social! It feels like being in a workshop with the author. Working my way through it, it's giving me the confidence to write a parser with lexing and syntax tree implementation in sclang.
