To be honest I wasn’t sure about revisiting this cartoon at first, but Glenn’s approach of examining the cultural memetics and the politics of the comic made it appealing to me. Personally I don’t want pure celebration; I want dissection.

Glenn has painstakingly subjected his brain to the hundreds of remixes and riffs made from this comic--the best and worst of which will be included in the book.
in 2016 I made a comic titled “Mr. Gotcha” that would become most viewed and circulated image I’d create.
