@david_chisnall This has been a problem with recipe blogging for years, and isn't to do with AI. Your favourite recipe will have 5 pages of the author talking about how the recipe reminds them of summers at the beach with their gran, and a load of other irrelevant tosh. Then after you've scrolled enough to load 50 ads, the ingredients and method will be right at the bottom.

@ianbetteridge Lots going on here. Protest votes against Labour and reform are contributing factors, I suspect. But also, historically a lot of people have avoided the Greens because while they like their green policies, a lot of their other general policies were bonkers. Now we've got Nutjobs Reform and the Mad Tories, and Labour also appears to have lost their collective minds, it's making the green non-environmental manifesto look more sensible...

@CodingItWrong Those folks should consider that 20-30 years ago, getting a computer with the same compute power and screen resolution as a modern smartphone would have needed hundreds of thousands of dollars, and a large room to house it in. @marcoarment

If your level of programming expertise is such that it will be enhanced by using an LLM, you don't understand the dangers of LLMs and should not be coding with them. And if your level of expertise is enough that you understand the risks of LLMs, then you don't need an LLM to code.

What you seem to miss is that we already had all this, with Google.
