@GOKUSHRM @andypiper @eff If you have your own instance, or you're on an instance that matches you, you can't be suspended. You can only be suspended if you've registered on an instance who have policies that they deem you don't follow. Suspension is instance specific, not global.

Synes det er temmelig irriterende at min bank ikke gemmer beskedudkast til dem automatisk, når de så hurtigt logger mig ud for inaktivitet, typisk mens jeg er i gang med at overveje eller undersøge et eller andet nærmere.

Brugte weekenden på at nyde vejret, men også at reducere min afhængighed af Google Play Store for i stedet at bruge F-droid, for at nærme mig en fuldt degoogled-telefon, eller endnu bedre: En Linux-telefon.

Er også i gang med få flyttet mine sidste profiler væk fra en amerikansk-ejet e-mail-adresse, så den kan blive lukket ned. De vigtigste ting er allerede flyttet. Overvejer bl.a. Posteo, Mailbox.org, men overvejer også lidt, om jeg i stedet skulle opsætte egen mailserver og domæne.

I kinda wanna get rid of systemd, fx. based on its uncritical support for age verification and its support for AI.

Recently I've been hearing about openrc, s6, gardenhouse and runit. I've also considered trying out Artix, being quite familiar with Arch. Unrelated I was considering NixOS, but apparently it's very systemd dependent.

I used to use sysvinit, so not having systemd is not unfamiliar, but I would like to avoid having to maintain my own scripts for everything.

Any recommendations?

GitHub, at de er baseret i Europa - specifikt i nabolandet Tyskland. Og så er det baseret på Forgejo, som er open source, i modsætning til GitHub.

Paying Google hundreds of dollars, which helps them maintain/strengthen their monopoly
That Google builds the hardware I use
Buying US hardware (if I can avoid it)

I hope in time to leave Android to get away from AOSP or something based off it as well, going for a pure Linux phone. Some Android apps may still be runnable through e.g. Waydroid/emulation, but i don't think I'd really need that.
