TIL that WebKit has an optimisation for PDF export where vertical (top to bottom, 180º) CSS linear gradient is rendered as a 1px wide vertical image and tiled in the resulting PDF. This… produces exceedingly awful results. OMG B A N D I N G. That seems like a very dumb/old “optimisation”.

Claude is hilariously terrible (in a not fun way) at making sure it works on a new branch/worktree. So often it will indicate it is but then does everything to main, or a pre-existing branch on the worktree.
