Just anxious. This is also the first time I haven't been pregnant when baby is 18 months. My first 3 children are all 2y3m apart and my last 2 kids are almost exactly 2 years apart. I'm so used to being pregnant right now and I have to have another surgery first. But honestly I just want another baby 😭 I want another little boy to name after my Papa

Yeah I took all the kids to get their teeth cleaned between my wrist and leg surgery. He was all... "Hmm something is different" (the boot and walking stick) 🤣 I'm very sad about my Papa. Looking at photos of us throughout my life just makes me sad. And he just said to make sure I'm elevating foot above my heart. The dentist was like "uh HOW OLD ARE YOU?!" this is a busy week.. tomorrow I have an appointment with my primary doctor about the connective tissue disorder testing. Thanks for always being there 🙏🏼

Thank you grumble. Ankle has been leaking fluid when it swells... But physically therapy was fine. We will work over the next 4 weeks to get me walking unassisted... I actually had a dental appointment today. No cavities but I had a spot that could turn into one... I was talking to the dentist about all the antibiotics and steroids and various injuries and illnesses I've had in the past 7 months. I said I haven't taken care of myself the best but I am hopeful having a turn for the better health wise... he said I had beautiful teeth 😃 I was actually getting updates on my Papa while having my teeth cleaned. I felt rude reading on my phone while the lady was working but she was understanding

They finally did the MRI and EEG on my Papa's brain. He has an Anoxic Brain Injury. Back and side of brain have the damage according to the EEG. We won't know the extent until the MRI report and the blood test comes back.. I guess they can test how much oxygen depravation happened in the blood. Anyways he is either going to die, stay in a coma, or be a vegetable. Miniscule chance of being a normal adult. I've been preparing for this since it happened, I've come to terms and accepted. But a lot of my family are struggling. One day you're video chatting with your great grandkids and the next you're....

Waiting for them to finish the brain scans. There is a lot unknown but going 20 minutes without oxygen is enough to kill a brain. That's just one of the factors. But we will likely drive down tomorrow... No visitors allowed right now besides my Nana. While in my appointment I found out that I need to have a second wrist surgery. There was a 2% chance of failure, I guess I'm just unlucky. But the chance of it failing again are even slimmer. I just have to call and schedule my surgery whenever I feel like doing it again..... I also had to confront the leg surgery team about the fact my medical records and insurance said I needed the tendon repair and ligament reconstruction... Yet the surgery only repaired the tendon... They discovered a second section that needed repair but they didn't touch the ligament.... The nurse practitioner I saw today was visibly upset and looked like she was going to cry she felt so bad for me. She said there could have been a reason why the ligament wasn't done. If he got in there and it healed- fantastic!!! But not communicating with me about it is NOT okay. She seemed very upset, she said he was in surgery but when he was out she'd go talk to him personally and explain everything and then call me. But that didn't happen. So I'm going to take this as more bad news. I mean, why tell me and explain a surgery where they'd fix something and then not do it and not even tell me about it. Possibly need another surgery on my leg. Frankly I will need to get a second opinion.

Life is so crazy. But I guess in most cases you don't expect those you love to die today. When leaving my appointment we witnessed a car accident in the parking lot and just now a massive chemical semi truck tanker was exploding all over the hwy spraying God knows what behind us. So thankful it was BEHIND us. What a nightmare day.

Tyler got a call while I was in my appointment that my Papa is on life support. After speaking to my Mom, my Papa is practically dead. I'd really appreciate prayers for my family. I had a wonderful week with my Nana, I'm so thankful she made it home yesterday and got to spend one last day with my Papa.

LMFAO I had to schedule another appointment and get checked to see the wrist doc... And the lady told me somebody SHIT IN THE FUCKING TRASH CAN. What sick individual decided to hoist their ass up and shit into the wall trash receptical and piss all over the floor

Wow apparently my wrist surgeon no longer visits the clinic only 45min from my house once a month 😭 😭 so if I want a followup for that surgery (which I think was a failure last month) I have to drive to this office which is 2+ hrs away. But the nurse practitioner I'm seeing today (yeah the surgeon can't even see his patient post-op) might be able to look at it and get a scan ordered because it's swelling up again.

Real talk I could use some prayers for this appointment I have to confront them big time 🙏

I told a front desk lady and she didn't do anything so I went and told another lady and she's cleaning it now

I love when the nerves in my leg decide to knit back together while I'm trying to fall asleep feels like I'm getting shocked. Such a startling sensation. I have a followup appointment tomorrow and I don't look forward to having to complain about the awful care I've received from the team. My wrist doctor worked out of the same orthopedic office, but I had surgery at a different surgical center and after comparing the two it's crazy how crappy the leg care team has been. Today is also my last day of steroids. So far I've needed antibiotics 3x this year, steroids 2x, surgeries 2x, flu b 1x, food poisoning 1x. What's doesn't kill you makes you stronger

This isn't a healing itch it's like a hot magma something is wrong and my body is very angry itch 😭

I'm checking the pharmacy to see if it's getting filled yet

On call doctor calls me and it sounds like he's whispering on the phone in a bathroom. Nigga taking a shit I know it. Anyways I have to take steroids again

And honestly I'm disappointed with how bad the communication has been with the surgeons office

I'm supposed to stay in bed unless I'm going potty the first 8 days. Then after day 8 the doctor said I can move around with my boot and crutches to pain tolerance. But I don't think I'll be walking around and doings much outside for at least two months.. especially with the uneven ground and stuff...

So they described it as a cheese stick. My tendon is a cheese stick and there was a section that was smashed apart and damaged and had to be sewn together. But then they found another section that was a "flap" and not viable. So maybe "dead" isn't the word but it needed to be removed. So imagine like you took a big chunk out of a cheese stick because it was bad... Then they shaved everything down in the tendon to only healthy stuff and sewed it back together. I'm curious where that damage came from since the initial tendon damage was closer to where I broke my tibia

I go back on the 31st! Yeah I'm just not used to being stuck in bed, even after I have a C-section I still move around and do more than this! And they told me on the phone that they found a section of dead tendon when doing the tendon repair. They fixed the stuff we saw on the MRI and then when checking the length of the tendon they saw the dead section and had to cut it out and sew the tendon up. I will ask at the follow-up if that was damaged during the initial injury or if it happened while waiting for surgery.. I think I broke the tibia back in February or March so it's been some time....

The area under the bandage is itching so freaking badly. Plus it just hurts from having been cut open and worked on. I can't take the bandage off till my post op appointment. I have more control over my leg, but it's still noodle like though. My thigh muscles have been really Sore and weak. I think that could be from just having a tournaquet put on it and the nerve blocks placed.

Oh we have bathroom off our bedroom!! The doctor gave me a boot that goes to my knee and said to use it for going to the bathroom but only walk to go potty the first 8 days. But I have zero control over my leg right now from the nerve block

Nope have like 5 stairs to get to the house... But yeah once I'm inside I'm not going upstairs to the family room or the girls room. I had a long talk with them about NOT throwing their clothes everywhere
