@dalias@hachyderm.io @ErikJonker@mastodon.social Well I'm just reffering to the technical aspect of LLMs which are based on the prediction on the next token, and nie oversimplifying - they need to halucinate to work properly. All the chains can help - that is why they are good at coding and veryfying, but there's no guarantee even with enforced learening that they will be consistent. We were pomised AGI, we got LLMs.

@wariat@mastodon.social @nixCraft@mastodon.social Well, I saw it around this time on FreeBSD and... it was just as CDE on Solaris. It was OK, but fvwm2 was mich leaner on my 486DX2 66MHz. Then GNOME for years, but GNOME 3. So switched to KDE and the plasmoids were the king... KDE Neon gives you reasonable stable desktop, handles wine 32-bit for bogus retro apps (scope and EEPROM burners), handles both flatpacks and snaps, tooling for Atari ST with gcc and vasm... Themes that work, usefull desktop gadgets, Steam integration. That is my 28th year with Linux on desktop :)

Also, seems that Sierra had the libraries in quite portable format, because I remember that while some games seemed not to support MIDI out - copying the audio library from other Sierra game - enabled it

@sqhistorian@dosgame.club @nokturnal@mastodon.gamedev.place Space Quest III on Atari ST had a unique feature that might be tough on emulator - music using MIDI output on i.e. Roland MT-32. And I already see that Pawel is helping here with his work on it. Personally I have Atari ST with Roland MT-32 emulator (MT-32-PI) and it sounds great!

@chlopmarcin@101010.pl Plac Kory to ostatnia inwestycja w tym miejscu - wcześniej powstało centrum przesiadkowe, z którego robiłem to zdjęcie. To jest dopiero ciekawe rozwiązanie - ściany pionowe w stronę placu są zielone, a na samej górze jest mini park z ulami dla pszczół. Można odwiedzić po schodach po wyjściu z dworca PKP

Mateusz Matysiak from the ZX Spectrum group mentioned that he had a PCB left over for an interesting project - a ZX Spectrum clone from the USSR - Leningrad-M; so why not? I'd previously assembled a replica of Przemysław Węgrzyn's Elwro 800 Junior, so after looking at the project https://alex-j-lowry.github.io/lngrad-m.html, I was intrigued to see that there wasn't an "EPROM GPU", just nearly exlusively 74LS! After a few iterations, of course it wasn't working, so starting as always with the clock generator: I had fake LS from Aliexpress! Labeled as LS but in reality HC version (meaning the T48 will show them as OK). The "fake 74LS193" won't generate an H0 signal... As before, I went to https://www.standby-shop.eu/ - thank you for still running such a hobbyist shop - after two days I replaced the 74LS74, 74LS257, and 74LS10 (those 257s looked disgustingly sanded), the 74LS193, and 194, and - IT WORKS! Thank you all, now all that's left to do is to solder the keyboard!
