Fuzzy wormb-on-a-string in a trenchcoat.

Full stack dev. Doodler. Sometimes organiser of events.

ADHD-er rediscovering themselves and how they work. Figuring this shit out is the fun part.

Ugh.
With every horrible day of symptoms, there is at least one more good data point for the cardiologist.

@Walk_blesseD The intrusive thoughts say "Two buttholes" but i don't know if i'm emotionally prepared to come to terms with that statement.

The philtrum is the face-taint.
You're welcome, and also, I'm so deeply sorry.

it feels like i can see myself breaking further and further down, at a rapidly increasing rate.

I cannot eat. I cannot hold food down. I cannot sleep. It's so difficult to form a coherent sentence.
It's been like this, off and on, for over a year now, and it's getting worse.

I have not been able to nail down any singular cause - partly because too many variables, mostly because there is no obvious pattern to any of it.

I am not only terrified of what this means in the months and year/s to come, but even more terrified that I won't be able to cope with it well.

It almost feels like one of those deliberately-obtuse-gender-role memes? like: "Which one of you in the relationship is the 20 step frittata recipe, and which one of you is the lettuce-mayo-shovel-gremlin?"

It's like on that page they realised how unapproachable the first recipe was and then thought "What can we do to still seem approachable and relate better to our readership?" and then somehow failed in the other direction also 🤣

So as a relaxing task to do while watching things, i'm slowly indexing recipes in all the books i've collected into Notion so i can search by tagged ingredients.

It means i get a excellent opportunity to compare recipe difficulty/fussiness levels between authors and the way each book is curated for it

The funniest instance of this i've found so far has been on _the same page_ of an old book from ABC's Delicious Magazine

One recipe has you sourcing and then shelling peas by hand and then the other one next to it is quite literally "JUST DIP A LETTUCE LEAF IN MAYO AND EAT IT."

Wild.
