planetearth.social has been updated to Mastodon 4.5.0.
This release introduces quote posts with a refreshed composer, improved reply updates in the web interface, an updated emoji set with cleaner rendering, and a new Posting Defaults settings page. Lots of polishing and fixes under the hood as well.

The server has been upgraded to 4.4.3. We experienced some technical hiccups that caused a few minutes of downtime, but everything is now up and running on 4.4.3! Please note that it may take some time before search results are fully complete again.
