Secret Santa gift I made and totally forgot to take a good picture of. Guess it’s also a Dyxcember cast.
Like usual, model by @Hoover@pone.social
Anyone know any good tips to force yourself to get stuff done? It’s not that I have no motivation to create pony stuff, but that there’s other stuff I need to do to actually be able to create and I keep putting it off.
My contribution to the mare gallery!
Unlike many of my casts, she is bronze cast hollow with a wall thickness of 3/16th of an inch. Despite that, she is by far by biggest cast so far standing at nearly a foot tall and weighting ~14lbs
Ballerina Twilight for MF! Yes shes a unicorn that one episode doesn't count.
Finally getting back into the groove of things as the con draws near
Very rough proof of concept for a horse heart pendant for Mare Fair
If you see anything else, please know you are wrong and just like the people who claim the Mare Fair logo is anything but a balloon
Been busy planning some stuff for mare fair and also being lazy, but just recently got this bucket of ceramic slurry for doing casts. Previously I was limited to around 4x4x6 inches if I wanted to be safe, though usually less due to sculpture shapes, but this will allow me to cast ponies any size as long as they fit in the bucket.
Hopefully Ill be trying it soon, but it might be a bit since prep time is a lot longer than my other casting method
