Agreed, the US justice system is to police the disempowered. Its not at all functional when it comes to holding the powerful accountable. Arresting him will just lead to his immediate release.

you need 4 MB of ram and a 80386 processor to run doom, which was released in 1993. A crummy pixel phone processor is about 3500 times faster than a 80386. And a low end computer today has at least 8 gb of memory, which is 2000 times 4 mb.
This cheapo TI-30XA calculator for $9.99 on amazon has roughly the same MIPS rating (million of instructions per second) as a 80386 processor from that era.

Any coin made of gold that worth a single US dollar is going to be microscopic. Are we making coins for ants? Or will we just spend 8000 per coin “worth 1 dollar” and let trumpers buy them all and melt them back down to gold?

does that GDP number include the billions we give them in aid? We give them far far far more than the 3.8 billion thats advertised. 3.8 billion directly plus another 12.5 billion in military aid just in 2024. And I imagine similar in 2025 but dont have the data. What could America have done with a spare ~17 billion? and thats not even counting the horrifyingly expensive missiles we expend to protect them, military operations in the region to benefit them, the wars we engage in at their whim that only serve their interests. We are probably a trillion dollars into supporting these genocidal chucklefucks.

It was always toxic. The loss of the 2024 election proves that. They will lose 2026 and 2028 too if they dont acknowledge the obvious. Democratic party voters generally dont like funding murder and fascism. You’d think their “professional” highly-paid “strategists” would be able to understand that.

I dont agree with the premise of this article at all. The party absolutely does have a base, and the base wants social justice and economic opportunity. Thats universal. Thats more than enough right there create a platform around without reaching to the fringes like pro lifers, gun nuts and zionist war criminals. Josh Marshall who runs that blog is a zionist so maybe thats what he is talking about. He wants to pretend there is no unifying wish for Dem voters, so theres room for "centrist’ nuttery in the party, and room for nuts like himself. There is not. We dont need them and we dont want them in the Democratic party. Zionism is fascist, he should room with the other fascists and gtfo.

Actually not really all that true. Its pretty much the Abrahamic religions who designate enemies in their scriptures, and both Muslim and christans sprang from judaism. The other religions focus on balance.
Jainism, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, atheism, most Native American religions, and Satanic temple do not have an enemy in their scriptures.
These myths and stories tell people who they are, whats expected of them, and how to act. When your stories are bloodthirsty and include genocide like its no big deal, well, thats the worldview people model their behaviors after. Theres some psychotic stuff in the abrahamic religions.

Not a concerning threat. Unless a large group of people are going to push a F-150 at me or pull it with ropes like egyptians pulling a block of the pyramid in place, they dont scare anyone. Especially the Triton engine years or the newer ones where half the electric system fails. Threaten us with a japanese truck and people will pay attention.
