@nixCraft@mastodon.social @reddy_1975@mastodon.online I guess the correct response is to start flooding systemd project with PRs to add other "optional" fields. Like number of pets, number of fingers, preferred type of coffee, pizza with or without pineapple. You know, just incase people want to use them. Seems like that's the argument behind refusing to revert the change, so it must be a valid reason to include other fields.
