I've been thinking a lot lately about optimizations and how you usually have to stack a lot of small improvements to gain a speedup. I almost started writing a blog post about it.
Glad I didn't.
Because then comes @dorgan@fosstodon.org and makes indexing in Expert 2.5x faster with a single change 👏
