I went from cutting edge tech excited nerd to literally this picture, and life is better.

People are making an extra effort to make others aware that CoMaps exist and you don't need Organic Maps.

The issue with lies, and any good liar will tell you that, is that once you lie you need to maintain that lie forever. You keep adding new lies, new layers, new context, and this house of cards becomes more and more convoluted, large, and fragile. It takes one piece to fall for everything to come down, yet, because everything is a chain of lies, you can't stop. So imagine what happens when you take the most valuable GPU company and go all in on AI, creating insane investments into everything that happens to use those two letters, purposely entering into circles where one company invests into another that invests back into the same company. You can't get out, you're too far deep into the web of lies. You are so deep you must convince yourself with your own lies, because you added so many and everything is so fragile that your own mind is now an obstacle. Good fucking luck when it crashes down.

I have a visceral "AI" sensor that triggers when I see these:

"Rust Implementation (v2)"

"Performance Benchmarks (Validated)"

Human beings don't self-validate explicitly like that. AI loves doing it.

You generate code, there's a bug, you ask for a fix, your AI of choice will always output with:

*** Fix build issue ***

*** End fix ***

and then call it "Version 2 (Validated)".

Sometimes it's more subtle, but you can feel it, it loves adding "confirmed", "working", "validated".

You can develop black and white film at home using coffee. Developing nudes this way sounds kinda hot.

The issue is that comment sections are disabled and video descriptions claim to be empty

So it makes the page even better?

Our luck was that personal computers existed before phones. The fact computing is open is a miracle. Microsoft would love to only sell computers with locked bootloaders, enforced DRM, locked down stores. Imagine having to jailbreak your desktop.

Reminds me of when Samsung got caught placing a moon PNG texture on top of blurry images of a lamp, if they were round enough, in essence faking their “amazing zoom and night mode moon photography”

AI doesn't reason, so it heavily depends on what's been presented in the training set. Python is everywhere and most importantly whatever you can think exists in Python, from critical bioinformatics tools to somebody learning programming from the first time and posting their prime number finder or sorting algorithm online. Rust? Not at that point yet, so the AI fails

Maybe you did take great moon pictures. Maybe the picture was a white blob and Samsung just added those craters for you.

But we also say “dedos das mãos”, don’t we? A lot, in fact. Absolutely not. If I come running saying “ah meu deus, quebrei o dedo” you’d immediately assume fingers, not toes, if I meant toes I would specify, otherwise fingers are the default. I don’t think I can even recall a scenario of specifying “dedos das mãos” except for some kind of medical talk or children’s play or something like that. that you are portuguese I’m brazilian. “Dedos” can be used for hands and feet. Sure, which means just like the map implied we use “fingers of the feet” to say “dedos dos pés” and we don’t have a specific word for it. Thanks for confirming my (and OP’s) point you tried to deny. Also, I wrote 3 paragraphs. Learn to count and learn to read. You’re very angry for somebody disproving their own argument one comment later.

Huh what? Dedos are fingers. And we say “dedos dos pés”. You said “nope” then wrote a paragraph of text to confirm what you just tried to deny.
