Similarly, the single biggest thing Apple could do to unlock AI development for iOS is to build a robust CLI to drive iOS Simulators and devices. AXe and Appium based solutions are way too flaky, only Apple can do this reliably.

It’s hard to quantify the impact that Square has had on the Android ecosystem. Huge.
I’m not a compiler engineer, but rearranging the order Swift compiles generated code made it >2x faster. What’s stopping the Swift compiler itself from doing this? https://github.com/apple/swift-openapi-generator/pull/866
I’m not exactly keen to give Meta any of my attention. It’s been about 10 years since I’ve deleted my Instagram and Facebook accounts because of all the creepy privacy-invading crap they pull.
If a sizeable portion of the iOS dev community moves to Thread, I’ll probably begrudgingly join, but I hope that won’t happen.
