I like the way regex works in Perl but my instinct to avoid using regex in scripts is very strong. There’s almost always a library to do what you want

I find it kind of interesting that I seem to have more patience with old hardware vs emulators. Like I don’t have the same sort of empathy for a modern machine emulating old hardware as I do for old hardware that’s, y’know, it’s trying it’s best
