There’s two types of juniors:

1) People you hire as your employees, and those are definitely people you want to train. Nobody became a senior right away.

2) People you get just to increase velocity, who don’t deliver much and who don’t have the potential or long-term perspective in the company, often from a different country. And this velocity can now be obtained by using agentic AI.

It’s somehow much more pleasant when the animation is simple instead of “liquid”. Apparently they kept it simple in  Sports, and I love it.

I’m refining a simple website designed in Figma, which I am just lazy to code because I’d rather use the time designing than coding.

Somehow I’m doing much better with Cursor than Claude. Or Cursor doesn’t run out of its free plan in just a couple commands.

I find it interesting how creativity in IT is so easily delegated to AI, while we would never accept it for other art such as music or movies.

Interesting that the same kind of law is now passing in European countries, including the UK.

I think people should be left to smoke whatever they want legally. The extreme taxes make up for whatever costs come with it. And if I may be cynical, here in Czechia we sometimes say that smokers die sooner so the pension system benefits. 🙈

Also humans have full cost of their work and time spec’d out.

But I think companies rushing to market with AI agents to gain traction are currently selling the services under the real cost - to gain traction. They will need to make this money back one day.
