@rachelcoldicutt@mastodon.social things I particularly like about Metatext (on iOS) - free, no ‘in app purchase’ BS - open source - verifiably does not track any of my data - clean UI things I am not such a fan of: - AFAIK no ‘drafts’ folder (comms do fail, ppl do pause) - minimal error msgs - photos not deposited locally if upload fails - occasionally it gets confused & rotates photos 90° I’m guessing there will now be pressure for improvements & more FOSS competition
