I read today that the Nothing Phone (1) is getting its last security patch soon. The phone was released on 21st July 2022.
I would really rather we stop this short lifespan with technology. 4 years is such a short space of time, especially when often devices can last a lot longer than that.
I have the Nothing Phone (2), and intend to continue using it, likely with a custom ROM, even after support ends. Imagine if we all collectively decided to at least double the support length of thee devices.
