@dansup I wonder if, in addition of "clear recommendation data" you could add an export/import option of a commented file that users could tweak manually, or even better, add a GUI for algorithm selection and editing.
Like a simplified version of @cryptadamist's FediAlgo with just the params you use...

A friend asked me for help with their laptop, the manufacturer's site told me, when inquiring about the exact model, straight up TO BUY ANOTHER.
An 8GB RAM Ryzen 5!
The cherry on top is that, after installing Linux, fwupd worked flawlessly and updated the firmware right from the manufacturer!
The laptop is fully compatible with latest EVERYTHING and they don't even advertise it.
It's foolish and wildly anti-ecological. Please bring those machines to good use.

@Gargron@mastodon.social Thinking of what to say, apart from THANK YOU, best wishes, and congratulations, I have just learned that the etymology of pachyderm says "'thick skin', from the Greek παχύς, pachys, 'thick', and δέρμα, derma, 'skin'", so...
Here's hoping your skin can get softer and thinner now, if you so wish!
