I did some quick experimenting and the limit seems to be around 2500 characters. When hitting the limit, the toot gets rejected with HTTP 422. Don't know the exact number as I didn't want to spam it and inadvertently cause any issues..😅
For real tho, I didn't know modern MS Outlook still includes an RSS reader. Probably only a very small number of people use it, but I'm glad they haven't removed it
