@mre@mastodon.social I also think the point about junior devs having a different perspective because they don’t know what makes things hard is cool to see as a positive point. When I first started I found myself proposing solutions to problems and getting shut down hard by more senior engineers. Not a great feeling. It’s just something to keep in mind as I get older.

@mre@mastodon.social this is excellent!! I’m still a pretty green “professional” programmer - 2 years in - a lot of these I’ve had to learn the hard way, and some I hadn’t thought much about (building a reputation sticks out as one).
