@lproven@social.vivaldi.net Nice article. I remember being trained in Ada in the late 1980s, and regarding it as picky and verbose compared to the other languages I’d used at university. It did however have all these goodies built in (and described in this article) which the other languages did not. And then I never heard about it again. For baby projects it definitely felt like it had high overhead, but I can now see how useful that would be for the large multi-team work it was designed for.
