Ровно восемь лет назад (охренеть) началась первая блокировка телеграма в России, и тогда я вместе с друзьями (включая НайДжи, да) поняли, что грядет чебурнет, и нужно поднимать альтернативные каналы связи.
Так я поднял свой инстанс матрикса и начал падать в кроличью нору селфхоста. Спустя три месяца я ворвался и в феди, максимально хардкорным и интересным способом: поднял мастодон не зная о других инстансах, и особенно о руфеди. Это был довольно интересный опыт, но спустя несколько месяцев я случайно уткнулся в MML, и туман войны спал.
На дворе 2026 год.
Моего инстанса мастодона уже нет пару лет из-за РКН.
Мой матрех пережил переезды из Нидерландов под мод кровать, оттуда в Германию, и оттуда во Францию, и сейчас он заблокирован в РФ.
Большинство моих захосченных дома сервисов практически недоступны из-за троттлинга VPN соединений между моими серверами внутри страны.
Кажется, что-то пошло не так.

I find it hilarious how all these comparative LLM benchmarks show that models get better and better, but when you open the source data of these benchmarks, it is basically assessors saying this over and over:
Model A’s output is complete bullshit, 2 stars out of 5 Model B’s output is not even relevant, 1 star out of 5

Situation with voice calling is so bad here lately, especially after our Jitsi got blocked, that we used our Minecraft server's voice chat today to coordinate some devops deployments.
I guess at this point we need to build a virtual Minecraft office with meeting rooms and a coffee point.
